Opportunities are available for students to work on & off campus and gain Canadian experience.
- Working on Campus:
If you are a full time student and have a valid study permit, you may work at the Campus of your institution without a work permit. - Working off Campus:
If you are a full time student at an eligible post secondary institution participating in the off campus work permit program and have been a student for at least 6 months - Co-op internship programs:
This is a program which integrates the student’s academic studies with paid work experience relevant to their study program. If work experience is part of the academic program curriculum and it should not exceed 50% of the total program of study.This program is advantageous for the student in many ways:- The student gains useful career related experience while studying;
- The student may earn wages which can be applied to ease their educational financial burden;
- The student has a competitive edge with this international experience, maximizing job opportunities upon graduation
An International Student’s spouse (if applicable) may also be eligible for an open work permit if you have a valid study and / or work permit. we can assist with the process.
