Canada Experience Class (CEC)
Canadian Experience Class is an immigration category for Canada’s temporary foreign workers and international graduates who wish to become Permanent Residents. This program allows international students who have graduated from a participating Canadian post-secondary institution to apply to permanently stay in Canada.
To meet the eligibility criteria, International graduates must have:
- plan to live outside of the province of Quebec
- Successfully completed a program of study of at least two academic years at a Canadian post-secondary educational institution;
- Obtained at least one year of skilled, professional or technical work experience within 24 months of the application date; and
- have completed an independent language assessment (from an agency designated by Citizenship and Immigration Canada), depending on the skill level of occupation
